A bit about cody

It all started when…

Cody Porter is a professional hair and makeup artist with over a decade of experience in the beauty industry. Based in Adelaide, she works with brides, event clients, and editorial projects while also offering eyelash extensions to her loyal clientele.

Her journey began in 2013 at Media Makeup Academy, where she was awarded Most Outstanding Student. From there, she completed multiple qualifications, gaining experience across weddings, fashion shows, editorial, and film.

Cody’s career highlights include her role on the Inglot Australia Pro Team — one of only eight artists selected nationally — where she worked backstage at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Sydney, created content for global beauty platforms, and collaborated on high-profile events such as IMATS Sydney. In 2016, her artistry was further recognised when she was awarded Miss Creative for South Australia.

Her product knowledge and artistry were further developed through her role as a Colour Specialist at MECCA, where she worked with a wide variety of clients and was invited to attend exclusive masterclasses with Hourglass, Charlotte Tilbury, and Urban Decay.

Alongside her makeup training, Cody also studied hairstyling as part of her Diploma of Specialist Makeup Services, giving her the skills to create complete bridal and event looks. She later advanced her hairstyling education with a specialist masterclass by Chantelle Marie Hair, further refining her ability to deliver polished, elegant hair that pairs seamlessly with her signature soft glam makeup.

Today, Cody is known for her romantic, timeless, and elegant style — looks that are fresh, natural, and photograph beautifully. She brings calm energy and professionalism to every appointment, ensuring her clients not only look incredible but feel confident and cared for.

Looking ahead, Cody is excited to expand her artistry beyond Adelaide, offering destination bridal services in Europe alongside her established business at home. Whether it’s a wedding, special event, editorial shoot, or lash appointment, her focus is always the same: enhancing natural beauty and creating an experience that feels effortless and memorable.
